In other words the weight loss we can achieve with proper nutrition. And the truth is that we do not need enormous sacrifices to lose some extra pounds.   • Hi! I came across your blog and enjoyed your tips. A healthy salad before a meal does help – I get full! Water helps, too, as you said. I like your tip on cereals. I didn’t know about the rusks, but healthy snacks like fresh fruit and vegetables, etc. I use cream cheese on my celery to add variation.

    I didn’t know caffeine causes cellulite! Guess I better cut that down!! Boiled “pulses” – hadn’t heard it put that way before, but helpful info! Red fruits are a good tip, as well as sorbet. You’re also lighter in the morning when you weigh! Reducing by one tablespoon if you don’t lose weight – that’s interesting.

    I try to eat slower and chew more. I get full faster and eat less 🙂 I saw an interesting tip that if you make the food on your plate look unpleasant you won’t eat as much! I know stress causes weight gain, as well as sleep loss – that’s been my problem in the past. And when I feel full, I quit eating. Sounds simple, but we think we have to clean our plate. That’s what gets us in trouble.

    I always tell people “exercise” doesn’t mean killing yourself. You get exercise just by walking, dancing, playing with your kids or pets, or a Wii game! It doesn’t have to be a drag.

    I have a problem with metabolism with my health issues, which is why I’m suppose to eat several small meals a day, and I try not to eat after 6-7 pm. It is hard not to get frustrated, and you need a support system, whether at home with family, friends or online friends going through the same thing. Help and encourage each other. It keeps you motivated, which we all need!
